1. Information Collection

Cinedrafts collects information necessary to provide you with a seamless and secure experience. When you sign in using Google OAuth or our Magic Links, we securely store your email address, and if provided by the OAuth provider, your display name and profile picture. During the checkout process, we collect your billing address, phone number, and optionally your GSTIN to accurately generate your invoice and fulfill our tax obligations.

2. Use of Data

The Personal Identifiable Information (PII) we collect is used strictly for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your identity and secure your "My Library" dashboard.
• To process payments and generate legally compliant tax invoices for your digital downloads.
• To communicate regarding rights requests (via Resend).
• To display your name and profile picture alongside your public testimonials (only if you explicitly opt-in).

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Processors

We do not sell, rent, or exploit your personal data. We share necessary data only with trusted third-party sub-processors to facilitate our services:

• Razorpay: Handles all secure payment processing. We do not store or transmit your credit/debit card information; Razorpay handles all sensitive financial data directly.
• Neon DB & Cloudflare: Used for secure database hosting and digital asset delivery (R2 Storage).
• Resend: Used for transactional email delivery (Magic Links and Rights Requests).

4. Your Data Rights (DPDP Act 2023 Compliance)

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. We have built a native "Request Data Deletion" flow into your account dashboard to facilitate this right.

Data Deletion Impact: When you request data deletion and it is processed by our team, all of your Personal Identifiable Information (Name, Phone, Billing Address, GSTIN) is permanently scrubbed and anonymized in our database. However, your underlying login ability, email, and access to your purchased digital goods will remain intact so you do not lose what you have paid for. Additionally, your financial transaction records (Order IDs, amounts, and purchased items) are retained indefinitely strictly for our tax reporting and auditing compliance.

5. Testimonials and Public Display

If you choose to submit a testimonial regarding our products, you are given the option to post anonymously. If you do not choose anonymity, we will display your Google profile name and photo alongside your review. You may request the removal or anonymization of your testimonial at any time.
